Educational Objectives

1. To develop awareness of health disparities in Ohio’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Groups
2. To inform participants about effective programs and strategies which have improved access to equal treatment
3. To encourage and motivate participants to support further research and strategies toward eliminating health disparities
4. To increase the awareness in areas of Asian health in alternative medicine, cancer, cardiovascular disease, cultural competence, mental health, HIV/AIDS, and youth programs
